The Show Me Your Face Companion Devotional pairs excellently with the book. My experience reading the book was nothing short of deep fulfilment. However, this ten-day devotional truly supplemented the experience from the book. It reminded me of high school when I had a textbook which was loaded with really good content but was also paired with a practical workbook. This Companion Devotional was indeed my workbook. James 1:22 says "But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." The devotional gives you an opportunity to act immediately. The meditation and journaling tap into your deepest emotions and allow you to really search your soul. Every single day captured scripture readings to further put the experience into context. It also has a reflection and two prayers. What I absolutely love about it is that it caters to both those who are new to this walk with God and those who have been on the road before and are seeking to realign themselves. This real-life experience through the eyes of the author makes it so personal. As a believer, I already know that it's easy to talk to God, but this book and devotional has led me to feel God even more; the journey isn't as scary because it takes you step by step and guides you gently. If you are truly serious about not just reading about how to walk closer with God, and you need that extra push or help, through carefully thought out, spiritually resonating and God inspired words, then I unreservedly recommend the Show Me Your Face Companion Devotional. It will definitely change your life.
